Well now to update everyone on Noah. Noah is now 11 months old and he is so active and more mischevious than Daniel was.
He does not like to be held in your lap and he is constantly pulling up on anything and everything. We have a small toddler rocking chair. Noah pushed it across the living room and climbed into the chair and stood up on it. He has already learned how to crawl on top of Daniel's mini-trampoline and he will stand up on that and try to jump sometimes. He even tries to get off head first. Needless to say he has taken a few tumbles off the trampoline. He spent a few days with my parents in Plainview and before we left this weekend he was already sliding head first on his tummy down their 4 little split level stairs.
We keep a close eye on him when we are downstairs to make sure he does not hit his head on the tile. We have seen him bump his head on toys and furniture a few times but it does not seem to phase him. He just keeps on trucking and playing. He is a tough little boy. He is also very loveable, sometimes he will crawl over to me and just get on my lap and put his arms around my neck and give me a great big hug.
Noah has also learned how to clap and he loves to bat his eyelashes. And just this past week, Noah has started to dance. He will nod his head and shake his body a little. When I ask him to give "ojitos" (however you spell it), he will bat his eyelashes and smile very big.
Just like Daniel, Noah is such a happy baby. He just has a little more of a temperment than Daniel did, but we still love him and are very blessed to have such great boys.

Daniel the comedian
I know I need to add pictures but I wanted to share a few funny moments with Daniel. Daniel has really grown up a lot since his 3rd birthday.
He can be so literal sometimes. Eric took him to the zoo about a month ago. He had a blast and Eric told him to tell me about the baby monkeys.
"We saw baby monkeys at the zoo." says Daniel.
"Tell Mama you saw them jumping." says Eric.
"Were they jumping on the beds?" I say.
"No, they don't have beds." says Daniel.
"Was the Mama telling them, 'No more jumping on the bed?'" I say.
"No, monkeys don't talk. They say 'Ooo Ooo aahh ahh'"says Daniel.
Just this past Tuesday, my parents were in town visiting and we went out to celebrate a late 10 yr anniversary for Eric working with AT&T. Daniel's cousin Amelia, was telling Daniel some jokes. So Daniel came up with his own joke.
"Why did the chicken cross the road?"
"I don't know."
"To get to the other playground."
And then Daniel would laugh hysterically himself before anyone else did. When we started laughing, he continued to say it and laugh to have us laugh some more.
I will try to get some pictures posted soon.

Noah eating by himself
Well Noah has about 7 teeth now, so we are trying to give him some table foods. He has been eating Gerber puffs for a couple of months now he loves picking them up and crunching them in his mouth. Today Noah had green beans and pasta for dinner and this was the first time we let him pick it up by himself. He went wild and had a great time making a mess and eating some of his dinner.
Our trip to California
One of my cousins was having a wedding in CA and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity for us to take Daniel to Disneyland. Noah was too small to enjoy it but that just gives us an excuse to go back again. We drove in my parents RV from Plainview to Sacramento and it took us 3 days to get there. At the wedding, Daniel and Noah met our cousins from the West Coast and they had a great time.

Eric's parents were also lucky enough to join us in CA so we had a great time at Disneyland. Daniel's favorite ride was the Casey Jr. Circus Train (from Dumbo).

Update on Our Summer
Well it has been a while since I have blogged and we have had a busy summer. We visited some friends in Dallas in June but unfortunately I lost our camera while we were there. Noah and Daniel have both grown so much. Noah is not sitting on his own and crawling everywhere. He is beginning to pull himself up on me or Eric. I am trying to show him how to pull up on other things.
I put a ball pit for the boys and they both loved it. Noah loves playing with Daniel and Daniel can always make Noah smile.

Daniel's first visit to the dentist
Daniel has his first visit to the dentist on Monday. He did so great and he was very cooperative. He did not cry or throw any fits at all. I feel bad that he did not get to go into one of the cool rooms for the little kids. They were very busy and we got there a little late because we got a little lost trying to find it. So he ended up going into one of the rooms for the pre-teens/ teenagers. He chose cherry flavored gloves and he loved playing with the suction hose. He has 10 teeth on top and 10 teeth on bottom. We got to see his x-rays and he was very proud that those were pictures of his teeth. He did so well that the hygeniest let him pick 3 toys. She said most kids just pick two. She could of just been saying that to make us feel better. Daniel has no cavities and the dentist said his teeth look great. We forgot the camera so I will have to download some pictures off of Eric's phone later.
Noah is a busy body
Well Noah is so active. How many times have I said that. This week he started to spin on his tummy and he is beginning to roll over at night. He will stay on his tummy a lot longer and he is starting to push off with his feet a lot. He loves watching Daniel play and he wants to join in. He is sitting up for longer periods of time (1 - 2 min.) and he is trying really hard to keep his balance. He has been going to The Little Gym and he is the only baby so the teacher gives him all her attention. We all work to make him stronger and happier each week.
The whole family is doing great and Eric and I are getting excited about our trip to California in July. We are driving to Sacramento for a cousin's wedding and then we are going to stop in Anaheim, CA to go to Disneyland and Knott's Berry farm on the way back. We are going with my parents and my sister and her husband. Everyone is excited and we can not wait to see Daniel's face when we go to the two parks.

Noah loves Daniel
Noah is officially 6 months. We took him to his 6 month visit and he is 27.5 in. long and 18.5 lbs. He is a little above 50 percentile for his weight and length.
About a week ago, Noah started to try to get out of some of his toys. He twists and kicks and jumps and grabs onto bars to try to get out. He is still very active and he has started to try to refuse naps. Just this afternoon he kicked and grunted for about an hour to take a 20 minute nap.
Daniel loves playing with Eric and climbing and jumping all over him. Noah watches in excited anticipation. He smiles everytime Daniel talks to him and he kicks and screams to be included in the commotion.
Here are some pictures of my boys chilling in front of the TV and playing.

Noah's 1st tooth
Well Noah is now 5.5 months old. He is growing very fast and still very active. He is now wearing 6-9 months clothes and he loves to play in his Jumperoo. He still does not like tummy time and we are still working on that. April 13th he got his first tooth in the front on the bottom. April 9th he sat up for about a minute or two by himself. He loves to watch Daniel play and tonight was the first time he took a bath with Daniel. It was a little chilly for him because Daniel does not like warm water.
Daniel is still as great as can be. He is very social and loves to talk about trains ALL the time. He still loves his books and loves to recite "Green Eggs and Ham" or any book that he loves picks up that we read at least 20 times a day to him. His new word is oopsy-guysy instead of oopsy-daisy and he will correct you as well.

Daniel moments
I am sure everyone is familiar with Daniel's sense of humor. He is very smart and loves to make people laugh. A couple of moments that I wanted to share with you. Every night we read Daniel a poem from a poem book that his MoMo gave him and we tell him the date. On March 1st, Eric asked "Today is March?" and Daniel's response was "mellow." He was putting the words together as "marshmallow." Sometimes we do not know where he comes up with these things.
Yesterday was Eric's birthday and I asked Daniel if he wanted to get a gift for "DaDa" and he said "yes." So Eric mentioned it might be fun to play games with Daniel. So I asked Daniel, "Do you want to get a game for DaDa, so he can play with Daniel?" and his response, "Yeah, that's a great idea!"
And a little bit on Noah, today was his second day to rollover by himself without my help. Usually I just hold his butt while he gets on his side because sometimes he jerks too much and just rolls right back onto his back. But today he figured out how to keep from rolling backwards.
We are all doing great and looking forward to visiting my grandmother for her 92nd birthday party.

Noah's Baptism
Noah is also growing very quickly and he is becoming very squirmy. I have noticed when he is on his tummy he will dig his feet in the ground and pick his tummy up off the floor. When he takes baths or is sitting in his little bouncer chair he picks his butt up and starts sliding down the chair or bath tub. He loves to be talked to and played with. If you are not giving him the attention he wants, he screams and yells to get his deserved attention.
Noah just got baptized this past weekend and his fairy godparents are Monica Vigil-McDonald and David Molina. Noah did great throughout the whole mass. He did not cry at all when he got water poured on his head. He was just not happy after mass when Father Jim tried to take a picture with him.
And more on Noah, the day after his baptism he started to sleep through the night. We put him to bed at 9PM and he sleeps until 7AM. I am so glad to have a full night's sleep again. We really are not giving him any cereal in his bottle or anything. He just decided that he could go all night. Noah turns 4 months tomorrow and he is following in his brother's footsteps and starting to wear some 6-9 month clothing. Here are some photos from this past weekend and week.
Daniel is finally potty trained
I have been trying to potty train Daniel since around Christmas time and he really was not ready. Every once in a while he would act interested. Well it finally caught on and he has been potty trained now for the past month. This week was the first week he did not have any accidents at school. His accidents were partly because his teachers did not want to acknowledge that he knew how to use the potty. Plus, he was the only one in his class that was potty trained. I could go on but I won't because this is my brag session about Daniel.
Daniel has become such a funny person. He has also become very expressive. He lets us know when he is not happy or when he is scared or when he is happy. He also loves his baby brother very much and he loves to kiss him, except when he has baby slober on his mouth. Daniel says it is "yucky." Here are some updated pictures of Daniel.

Noah's smiles
Noah is beginning to talk a little more and smile a lot more. He loves his big brother Daniel. We have noticed that he really smiles a lot when Daniel talks to him and plays with him. He also follows Daniel when he walks away.
He has already learned how to get out of tummy time with a few tactics. He has been rolling from his tummy to his back a couple of times to get out of tummy time. I have also noticed that he tends to spit up as soon as I put him on his tummy. I know that he makes himself to do this because I try to wait at least one hour after I have fed him.
He is growing bigger and stronger every day.
Our Holiday Season
I am a little behind on updating the blog. But I wanted to update everyone on our holidays. We spent Thanksgiving at home since Noah was only one month old. We had a great holiday and enjoyed a Thanksgiving lunch with Grandma Rosie and PaPaw.
At Christmas, we had our traditional Christmas celebration with the Quijano/ Almendarez family. Daniel and Noah got tons of gifts. Daniel enjoyed playing with his cousins Amelia and Elliott. We also had the Castro grandparents come for a visit. While they were here we visited some family in Natalia, TX. Daniel had a blast with a couple of his cousins.
